Satellite Radio Player / 2006 / Whipsaw Inc.

Process: This product, a satellite radio player is a unique product that allows people to completely customise radio stations.


The design direction of this product was driven by the concept of a black monolith - creating the perception of a product cast out of solid black acrylic.
Skills: this project entailed everything from sketching to foam models to 3d modelling to getting functional button prototypes created to try different button configurations.

This was one project began to explore the potential of interaction design and industrial design to overlap into one single design process.
